Tim Hudson+ is a fan of Digging Deep to expose the underlying cause of concepts, trends, and beliefs while seeking to see where they fit in the Big Picture, the cultural context in which they exist.
Tim lives in Athens, GA because being close to The University of Georgia is never a bad reason to do anything. He spends his time traveling, writing, reading, geeking out on innovative technology, watching movies, and forming opinions about most everything.
Tim is a native Georgian. He holds degrees and honors from different colleges, universities, and seminaries. He comes from a strong Christian background and has enjoyed preaching and teaching about God’s grace and leading Christian ministries for most of his life.
Tim and the love of his life, Sheila, have been married since 1968. God blessed them with two daughters and a son. Both daughters married good husbands and fathers who have blessed them with seven grandsons who are their pride and joy.
Tim was a Campus Pastor for 30 years at CCF@UGA. While there he mentored, recruited, and served alongside Angela Denton Rachel, who is now the Director of CCF. He also mentored, recruited, and added Fledge Fiamingo to their staff. After retiring from CCF Tim helped Fledge hone his knowledge of wildlife and insight into how God communicates through His creation.
Tim currently is the COO of Son Safaris, the ministry which Fledge founded and directs, Emeritus Campus Pastor of CCF@UGA, Emeritus Founder of the IAGR at UGA. He also serves on the CCF Board and is an affiliate of New International.
